That’s why we’ve made our format more inclusive. More relevant. More rewarding.
And why we plan to gift half of the league to the golfing community, including fans

THE PREMIER GOLF LEAGUE AT A GLANCE
The Backing
We are not connected to the SGL and the SGL are not associated with us. We have no Saudi backing.
The League
Dual championship, individual and team, the best of both worlds.
The Player Championship
Traditional stroke play, $20m purses plus bonuses.
The Team Championship
Runs in parallel, 12 teams of 4, only 2 scores count, per team, per day. Real life fantasy golf.
The Play-Offs
Match play team finale, week 18, seedings based on league finish, $20m winner takes all, down to the wire.
The 13th Team
Picked by the fans, owned by the Foundation, 3 players per week, another 51 professional men and women who get to compete for $4m.
The Season
18 events, January through August, starting 2023, 12 in the US, 6 around the world.
Play
3 days, no cut, regular season, shot gun starts days 1 and 2, 2-tee start day 3, no slow play.

Dream field every week, 5-hour viewing window, all action from the start, every shot truly counts, control what you watch, real season-long engagement, membership, ownership.
WHY WE’RE DOING THIS
We love golf. And, as fans first and foremost, we believe the professional game can be better. Better for the best players. Better for the fans. Better for the sponsors, media owners and broadcasters. Better for the game itself and of course, its community.
So, we set about changing it. For the better.
Our starting point was simple – what we believe fans really want to see:
- The best playing the best week-in-week-out.
- Shotgun starts. No cut. 3 days not 4. Wall to wall action and a guarantee to see your favourite players play.
- Traditional ‘every player for themselves’ stroke play combined with a team dynamic. The best of both worlds where every shot counts. Not just to the individual players, but to the teams and, of course, the fans. Culminating in an end of season match play finale, the Play-Offs.
Ultimately, we wanted to give fans a reason to tune in every week and stay tuned in between tournaments. Believing that if we found it more compelling, other fans would too.
That with a blank canvas, free from legacy-driven constraints, we could create a format that more people would enjoy and from which more people would benefit.
